How do I create an account?

To create an account, click ‘Sign in’ in the top right corner of your screen. Then, click ‘sign up’ to start creating an account. 

Does creating an account involve any costs?

No, creating an account to start a fundraising page is completely for free! 

How do I change my password?

To change your password, you must be logged off. Go to the log-in page and click ‘Forgot your password?’. Choose your new password via the link in your mail box.

Fundraising

How do I start a fundraising?

Select the project in which you want to participate. Then click ‘start a project’ and follow the steps on your screen. It only takes a couple of minutes to create an account and set up your own fundraising page. 

What is my fundraising goal?

The fundraising goal for 'HeartSaver School' has been amounted at €3999,- (tax included). 

What if the fundraising goal is not reached within 90 days?

In the case that the fundraising goal is not reached within 90 days, Live is Life will contact the page-owner to decide what to do with the already donated funds. Each case may be handled individually. 

Can the fundraising goal be exceeded?

Yes, the fundraising goal can be exceeded. Any surplus of raised funds will be collected by Live is Life and will be used to finance other projects. This way, we all help increasing the number of publicly available AEDs.

How can I customize my fundraising page?

To customize your fundraising page, you must be logged in. Go to your account and select ‘my fundraising pages’. Select the fundraising page that you want to customize and click ‘edit page’ on the left side of the fundraising page.

Donating

How do I donate to a fundraising?

Click ‘Donate’ in the upper right corner. Then, enter the name or another detail of the fundraising you want to donate to in the search bar and click ‘search’. If filled out correctly, the fundraising will pop up. Click the respective fundraising and click the ‘donate’ button in the next screen. Then, follow the steps on your screen and fill out the donate details. 

Where does the donated money go to?

The donated money will be collected by Live is Life. Once the fundraising goal has been reached, Live is Life will distribute the money to its national fulfilment partner (HeartSaver vzw or CardioService). The national fulfilment partner will use the money to fulfil the project. 

Do I pay transaction costs on top of my donation?

No, you only pay the donated amount. No transaction costs. 

Can I receive an invoice for donating to a fundraising?

Yes, you can. Contact the national fulfilment partner responsible for the project: HeartSaver vzw (www.heart-saver.eu) or CardioService (www.cardioservice.eu). First, transfer the donation amount to the respective fulfilment partner and inform them about to which fundraising the money should go. The partner will then draft the invoice and send it towards the donor/sponsor. The fulfilment partner will transfer the money to Live is Life for the correct fundraising.

Can I donate anonymously?

Yes, you can donate anonymously. When in the donation form, tick the box ‘Hide my name on the fundraising page’. Your name won’t be displayed. 

Why can I not transfer the money?

The AED-package

What is in the AED-package?

Live is Life offers an all-in-one AED-package that consists of the following: an AED, AED outdoor cabinet, information backboard & AED signage, 24/7 AED monitoring, installation and maintenance services for 5 years, insurance, an on-site CPR-training and access to online awareness courses.

What type of AED do I receive?

Live is Life’s national fulfilment partners decide on what type of AED will be delivered.  

What type of AED cabinet do I receive?

Live is Life has standardized the Rotaid 24/7 AED cabinet in all projects. 

When will the AED-package be delivered?

Once you have reached the fundraising goal, Live is Life will inform the national fulfilment partner. Our national fulfilment partner will then contact you to schedule the installation and the on-site CPR training.
